Coffman Racing Formula Drift Atlanta 2016 Recap

The Coffman Racing Team came to Round Two, Formula Drift Atlanta ready for battle.  Thursday practice was reminiscent of Round One in Long Beach, as the rain seemed to have followed us to Atlanta.  We got some quality practice on the Atlanta track, both wet and dry and were ready for qualifying on Friday.

Friday the skies were clear, and Matt was able to lay down some solid qualifying runs.  Matt qualified 17th, which put him up against our friend Geoff Stoneback for top 32.  Matt threw down an awesome lead run and chase run, but the judges sided in Stoneback’s favor.  While it wasn't the outcome we were hoping for, we had a great weekend in Atlanta, and will be ready for Round Three.  We hope to see you for Round Three in Orlando on June 3rd & 4th.
